PROJECTS

Inspired by my observations of the excessive packaging in e-commerce and fueled by the significant cultural changes I experienced when I moved to New York. I crafted a garment from bubble wrap and up-cycled materials, symbolizing my personal journey of transformation. The painted plug explosion on the dress reflects my experience of unplugging from the past. Through Plugged, I aim to inspire a reconsideration of material usage in the fashion industry.

LOLAdrone emerged as a direct response to the corruption of the Paraguayan government, which failed to address the nation's healthcare needs. Throughout March 2020, protests swept the nation, fueled by anger and frustration. In an effort to engage the youth and shed light on these injustices, I devised a simple drinking game. Players answer questions about the biggest corruption cases, drawn from my ongoing research. Those who answer correctly keep the card, and the player with the most cards at the end wins. However, this game serves as more than just entertainment; it's a reminder of the government's blind eye for protests, as they return to their pattern of corruption once the demonstrations subside. It's time for lasting change and genuine accountability.

Arte Chokada is a collection of hoodies and stickers I launched in November of 2020. Crafted to fund the treatments of a newborn baby with terminal disease when the government wouldn't step in. I took charge of every step of the project, from designing the website for online sales, to managing finances and overseeing product creation. Additionally, I led a marketing campaign to spread the word, and I handled the photography and packaging to showcase the products. With dedication and passion, Arte Chokada resulted in a sold-out inventory and tangible impact in my community.
